Obituary for William "Bill" Quintin

William "Bill" Quintin
Our Bill was a man like no other!!! On the 30th of May he transitioned into eternal life after a long battle with cancer.

Left to cherish his memory is Laura, his wife of 30 years, son Christopher and his girlfriend Hanna Kelleher, daughter Kaci and her husband Ryan Tully, and soon to be born baby girl Kinsley Christina, along with many friends and family across the country. He is predeceased by his father Bernard and brother Bernie.

Born in Southern California to a transplanted Vermont Family, Bill learned to love cars and hard work at his brother’s gas station in Newport Beach. After a short time in the US ARMY (Germany) he began a career in electronics and computers. He rose in the field to become a highly respected and sought after expert in Capital Supply Capital Chain Management, holding four top level security clearances. His LinkedIn page was in the top 10% for views. Most recently he was Director of subcontracts at L-3’s Linkabit division in Melbourne.

While raising his family in upstate New York he became masterful at home remodeling Christmas tree farming, running races with Kaci, coaching basketball with Chris, and turning on a whole generation to the fun and camaraderie of boating on Sandy Pond.

He settled in Florida 2 years ago exclaiming on how much it reminded him of his youth in So. Calif. He enjoyed beach walks, an IPA by the backyard pool, and smoking all kinds of meats in his Green Egg smoker for friends and family. A meticulous lawn and maintenance caretaker, he managed daily life and the souls of his sweet family with an intensity and grace all his own.

His service will be held on Saturday June 3rd at 12:30 pm at Beach Funeral Home - East. A reception will follow at Satellite Beach United Methodist Church on Jackson Avenue. Donations may be made to Hospice, Humane Society or a favorite charity. Burial will be private.
