Obituary for Karl Lado

Karl was one of 10 children born to Louis and Velma (Palady) Lado in Holland, OH. He joined the US Air Force in 1951 and served numerous locations throughout the world earning many awards and accolades. Upon his retirement in 1971 as Master Sergeant he embarked on a second career with the US Federal Aviation Administration as an Electronics Technician where he worked until retiring in 1999. Karl has been a resident of Satellite Beach since 1967 where he and his wife, Elva raised their five children. He was a member of Divine Mercy Catholic Church and is survived by four children; Karen Burton (Steve), Killen, AL; Sharon Baxter (Richard), Melbourne, FL; Barbara Randall (Jim), Mills River, NC and Karl Lado, Jr.(Sue), Byrdstown, TN. He also leaves behind a sister, Andrea Rosenberger (Jim), Hamilton, OH; 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and companion Ada Alvarez. He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Elva; daughter, Carol, and grandson, Thomas Randall. After the death of his wife, he continued to enjoy traveling and visiting family with his companion Ada. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother and will be greatly missed by family and friends. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to www.kidswishnetwork.org.
Visitation will be held at Beach Funeral Homes – East, Indian Harbour Beach, on Fri. June 16, 2017 from 4-6pm. A mass of Christian burial will be held at Divine Mercy Catholic Church, Merritt Island, on Sat. June 17, 2017 at 12:30pm. Burial will follow at Florida Memorial Gardens, Rockledge, with military honors.
