Obituary for Neville Morris

Neville Morris
On November 21, 2017, God in all His infinite wisdom and love called from labor to reward Neville Morris.

Neville was born October 28, 1937 in Baillieston, Jamaica. He was the youngest of five siblings. He was educated at Holmwood Technical School in Christiana, Jamaica and was employed at the Jamaican Land Valuation.

He married Nellie South on June 10, 1961. Soon after, Neville and Nellie migrated their family to the United States. He worked for the New York Telephone Company for 35 years until retirement.

Since retirement, Neville and his wife have resided in Melbourne, Florida. Neville accepted Christ as his savior at an early age and was a member of Holy Apostle’s Episcopal Church in Satellite Beach, Florida.

He is preceded in death by his brother, William Wright and beloved granddaughter, Dana Nicole Smith.

Neville leaves to cherish his memories: his loving wife of 56 years, Nellie Morris; two daughters, Karen Dawn McLean (Michael Sr.) and Paulette Andrea Howell; one son, Chester Karl Morris; eight grandchildren; Anthony Morris, Michael Morris, Oscar Robles, Michael McLean Jr, Christopher Smith, Ashley McLean, Bryson Morris, and Jonathan Morris, four sisters, Gertrude Arscott (Shirley), Shirley Nelson (Ferdinand), Phyllis Johnson and Barbara Thomas and a host of cherished nieces, nephews, sisters-in law, brothers-in law, cousins and friends.

Acknowledgement:

The family wishes to offer their humble appreciation for the many acts of kindness, visits and expressions of love and prayers. May God continue to bless each of you. He was loved by all who knew him and he will be greatly missed.
