Thomas Clair  Slick
Thomas Clair Slick, 75, of Melbourne Beach, FL, formerly of Toledo, Ohio passed away Thursday, March 15, 2018. Thomas was born August 1, 1942 in Auburn, Indiana to Clair and Mildred (Hess) Slick.
Tom graduated from Tri-State (Trine) University and was a member of Beta Phi Theta Fraternity: Jaycees, Elks Lodge, Moose Lodge, usher at Christ The King Catholic Church in Toledo, Ohio, Little League coach and manager, and CYO softball and basketball coach. He retired from Rolled Alloys, a specialty metal distributor as a computer programmer/analyst/manager.

Tom is survived by his wife of 35 years, Jane Slick, sons, Bryan Slick (Tammy), Greg Slick (Renate), and Bruce Little (Heather), daughters Christina Arthur (Todd), Charlotte Bohland (Michael), Carrie Hinde (Tim), Courtney Van Ostran (Aaron), 19 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren.

Tom loved unconditionally, helping to raise a large blended family with his wife Jane. He was known by all to be patient, kind, forgiving, and gentle. He was truly a model son, husband, father and grandfather. He was an enthusiast of The Ohio State Buckeye’s, sports, cars, golf, and of course food. His intelligence was demonstrated at a young age when he graduated with a 4 year degree in Chemical Engineering in 27 months. Throughout his life he affectionately remained the master of trivia and played with his grandchildren across the country.

Visitation will be held at 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Monday, March 19 at Beach Funeral Home, 1689 S. Patrick Drive, Indian Harbour Beach, FL., 32937. A Mass will be 10:30 am Tuesday, March 20 at Holy Name of Jesus, 3050 N. Hwy AIA, Indialantic, FL, 32903.
