Obituary for James Cyrus Brancaccio

James Cyrus Brancaccio of Melbourne, Florida passed on July 21, 2018
surrounded by his loving family.

James was born in Ozone Park, NY on April 25, 1941, son of John C. Brancaccio and Eleanor (Birch). James was predeceased by his wife Nancy Brancaccio (Morris)in 2014 and his son James C. Brancaccio in 2008. He is survived by John C. Brancaccio (Melanie), Christine Tito(Robert/deceased), Susan Rutkoske, and Jennifer O’Brien(Keith). He is also survived by his grandchildren Mark Rutkoske, James Brancaccio, Megan Brancaccio, Joseph Brancaccio, Katherine Tito, JC Brancaccio, Chelsea Tito, Eleanor O’Brien and great granddaughter Bianca Tito. Survived also by four siblings two sisters and two brothers

James was born in Ozone Park, NY and grew up in East Meadow Long Island, NY
James was a union plumber and pipe fitter by trade for 55 years with UA 47, and was so proud of being a union member. In his later years James worked with Raytheon as a mechanical supervisor and traveled to many places with Raytheon. He was very proud of his work experiences with the company and the many men he worked alongside with.

James met the love of his life, Nancy Morris in high school and was married for 56 years. He was a devoted husband and father to his family. He was a true patriarch to the extended family. Anyone could come to him with their problems or even just visit with him in his later years in Florida. He loved being with entire family, that is what he enjoyed most in his last years of life.

James in his younger years was very active within his community. James spent many
years involved in youth sports, coaching Little League Baseball, Youth Wrestling Clubs,
was a member of the Delaware Wrestling Officials Association. He was very instrumental
in the growth of the sport of wrestling in Delaware. James enjoyed traveling with his family throughout the US. His favorite moments were spent with his wife, Nancy visiting many states and cities in their RV.
