It is with great sadness that the family of Mary O’Hare Bagnell announces her passing on Monday, November 26th, at the age of 73 years.
From her birth in Queens, NY on June 9th, 1945 to her passing on Monday she nourished people around her with love, faith and a contagious laugh. Mary was the oldest of 6 children and in April of 1968 married John Anthony Bagnell, who passed in 2005. They moved to the Chicagoland area in 1970 and lovingly raised two wonderful children, Kelly and John.
Mary will be devotedly remembered and survived by her children Kelly Ann Brown and John Thomas Bagnell, her grandchildren Devin, Ryan, Samantha, Ethan and Jayden, her siblings (Lauren, Joanne, Regina and Thomas) and many dear friends.
Mary was active in so many things like A Girl and a Gun Club, the Rosary group and working full time, but most of all she loved her church home of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Indialantic, FL where she was very active in many areas. Mary’s work ethic and humility were appreciated by everyone and she always did whatever she could to help others never wanting anything in return.
A Funeral Service in memory of Mary will be held on Friday, November 30th, at 1:00 p.m., at the Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 3050 N Highway A1A, Indialantic, FL 32903. Reception with food & refreshments being served will immediately follow the service in the Community Room.
The Bagnell family would like to extend our gratitude to all the staff at Health First Holmes Regional Medical Hospital in Melbourne, FL, specifically those in the Intensive Care Unit/Floor for their attentiveness and loving care for Mary for close to 3 weeks.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mary’s name to Kelly Brown, John Bagnell or the Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church.
