Obituary of Delora Lea Flanagan

Delora Hull Flanagan - Satallite Beach - Delora "Dede" Lea Hull Flanagan, 49, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2009 at Holmes Regional Hospital, due to complications from a brain aneurysm. In her giving nature, it was her intent to give life to others through the donation of her organs. Dede was a loving and dedicated mother of Courtney Rae, Britney Ann, and Dustin Collin; beloved daughter of Floyd V. and Jeanora R. Hull. Also survived by brothers, Ray Hull, Michael Hull; sister, Janine Hull; sisters-in-law, Debi Hull and Karen Hull; nieces, Jayme (Freddy) Arafet and their son Tyler, and Jeanora (Jeni) Hull; nephew, Jeffrey Hull; the love of her life, Jeff Henning, along with his children, Michael, Christopher and Deanna; her longtime friend, Joanie Brill (aka Joan the Bone), and so many others whose lives she touched. Dede's life was her children, combined with an entrepreneurial spirit that allowed her to be the loving mother and caregiver that we all knew her to be. She was a tremendous cook and could most often be found in the kitchen cooking for her kids, their friends, neighbors and friends. Dede logged countless hours at the baseball and softball fields supporting her kids, enjoyed traveling, snow skiing, and just had a zest for life. Memorial gathering will be 10 a.m., Thursday, July 30th at Beach Funeral Home, followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to an educational fund being established for her children.
