Obituary of Marie A. Kane

Marie A. Kane (Maja), 87, of Melbourne, died Sunday, October 18, 2009. She was born in Czechoslovakia. She moved to Brevard County 34 years ago from Berlin, Germany. She is survived by her son, John Kane of Melbourne; daughter, Charley Thompson of Sedon, AZ; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A gathering will be from 1 to 2 p.m., Saturday, October 24, 2009 at Beach Funeral Home in Indian Harbour Beach, with a Memorial Service to follow in the chapel at 2 p.m. Interment will be private at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL, where she will be laid to rest with her husband, John who died in 2003.
