Obituary of Howard Charles Irish

Howard C. Irish, 88, of Indian Harbour Beach passed away, Saturday, December 19, 2009. He was born in Dundee, MI and moved to Brevard County 30 years ago. Howard enlisted into the Air Corp in 1941 to start his 30 year career in the Air Force. He flew the P-51 in WWII and the F-86 in Korea, he also served his country in Vietnam. He was a member of the Officers Club, he enjoyed sailing and fishing. Howard is survived by his wife, Delcia; daughter, Dana Irish; and grandson, Danny Meyer. He was preceded in death by son, Wayne Irish in 1957; daughter, Judy Irish in 1967, and grandson, Graham Meyer in 2003. Memorial service will be held at South Patrick Chapel, 854 Harrier Avenue, Satellite Beach, Thursday, December 24, 2009 at 11 a.m., with full Military Honors.
