Obituary of Carol N. Hunt

Carol N. Hunt, 73, of Satellite Beach, Florida, died Wednesday, January 20, 2010. She was born February 6, 1936 to Adria and Isabelle Novasel in Liberty, New York. She was a resident of Tolland, CT before coming to Brevard County with her family in 1987. She spent her whole life since high school in Nursing. She was a Hospice Nurse for Wuesthoff Hospice for 18 years. Carol retired from Manchester Hospital in 1987. She volunteered at Samson Island, and was a counselor at Camp Hope. She is survived by her daughters, Darlene Gerlack and Diane Shackway; son George Hunt, Jr.; grandchildren, Jennifer Ledard, Jessica Lesniak, Brianna Hunt, Tyler Shackway, Devan Shackway; great-grandchildren, Jacqueline Lesniak-Brothers and Gabriel Soucy; and brother, Louis Novasel. Carol was preceded in death by her husband George in 2007. A gathering will be from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Monday, January 25, 2010 at Beach Funeral Home, Indian Harbour Beach. Memorial Service will follow the gathering at 6:00 p.m. The family is requesting donations in Carol's name to Wuesthoff Brevard Hospice, 8060 Spyglass Hill Road, Viera, Florida 32940.
