Obituary of Henry J Bankowski

Henry J. Bankowski, 80, of Melbourne Beach died, Friday, February 5, 2010. He was born May 20, 1929 to Veronica and Adam Bankowski. He came to Brevard County 22 years ago from Gardner, MA. Prior to retirement he was the owner and operator of Bankowski Oil and Heating Inc. for over 30 years in Gardner, MA. Henry was a member of VFW of Gardner. He served our country in the U.S. Army in World War II. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Theresa; sons, David, Lawrence, Gerald and Ricky Bankowski; daughters, Nancy Barrieau, Judy Ryan and Karen Bankowski; one sister, Josephine Bankowski; thirteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. A memorial mass will be held at Holy Cross Church in East Templeton, MA, at a later date with inurnment to be at Notre Dame Cemetery in Gardner, MA.
