Obituary of David Brian Kinard

David Brian Kinard, 55, slipped into God's hands peacefully on Thursday night, June 17, 2010. Born on April 9, 1955, at Patrick Air Force Base, to Katherine and Jimmy Q. Kinard. He was preceded in death by his brother, Alan and survived by two brothers, Bruce and Jeff. His most fulfilling moments in life included spending time with his partner in love, Paula. They looked forward to many treasured trips to Disney for special occasions and weekend getaways. David's greatest joys always involved his family; son, Ron and his wife, Betsy, their children, Ryan and Rachel; daughter, Renee and husband Bryson, their children, Conlan, Tristan and Landon. He delighted in time with his grandchildren shopping, playing wii and shooting hoops "in the paint." Known to many as "Gator Dave", he could easily be spotted sporting orange and blue apparel since it dominated his wardrobe. He will always be one of their biggest fans! His wife and best friend, Paula, was by his side during those last moments, as were his loving brother, Bruce, Ron, Betsy, and Renee. And remember, like his answering machine always said, "It's a beautiful world, with beautiful people and you just happen to be one of them!" A gathering will be held at Beach Funeral Home, Indian Harbour Beach, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., Saturday, June 26, 2010. A Memorial Service will follow in the chapel at 4:00 p.m.
