Obituary of Patrick Lee van Vonno

Patrick Lee van Vonno, 23, died, August 19, 2010 coming home from a surfing trip doing what he loved with 3 of his best friends. He was born in Denver, CO and grew up in Melbourne Beach, FL. He graduated from Melbourne High School and the University of Central Florida.. He was a current graduate student at the University of North Florida. Patrick loved fishing, surfing and playing basketball. Patrick is survived by his father Nicolaas van Vonno; his mother Karen Miller; his brother Eric van Vonno; stepfather William Miller; stepsisters Hillary and Chelsea and stepbrother Ian Miller. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 29 at 2:00 p.m. at Eastminster Presbyterian Church, 106 N. Riverside Dr., Indialantic, FL 32903. Memorial contributions may be made to benefit children aging out of foster care at United Way/Connected by 25 Brevard, in honor of Patrick van Vonno, C/O United Way, 937 Dixon Boulevard, Cocoa, Florida 32922.
