Rosie's legacy began in Marquette, Kansas, where she grew up, married, then became an Army Air Corps wife during World War II. She delighted in raising her girls and her pets, having her writings published, painting, drawing, sewing, quilting, and organizing projects for her groups. She was a positive influence in many lives, young and old. Her extended family was always most important to her. She moved to Florida in the 80's, but never forgot her roots in the Midwest.
