Obituary of Mary Lee Christiansen

Beloved wife and mother, Mary Lee Christiansen, 50, of Melbourne, FL, passed away on September 2, 2010 in Grant, FL. Mrs. Christiansen was born on February 2, 1960, in Rockledge, FL, to Elizabeth Avie Self and the late Virgil Andrew Self. Mary Lee's compassion led her to serve as a medical technician and as a nursing home assistant, and was pursuing formal study in a medical assistant degree program. Mary Lee also enjoyed entertaining with music and song. She loved the beach, and thoroughly adored motorcycling with her many devoted friends. She will be sorely missed. Mary Lee is survived by her loving husband, Dana Christiansen; daughter, Christina Loftis (Lutrick); mother, Elizabeth Self; and three brothers, James, Virgil, and Danny Self. A memorial celebration will be held at Beach Funeral Home, Indian Harbour Beach, FL. on Saturday, September 18, 2010. A visitation with the family from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., Memorial Service following at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to ABATE OF FLORIDA, INC., Brevard County Chapter.
