Obituary of Donna Jean Tipton

Donna Jean Tipton, 62, moved on to her new life in Christ on May 5, 2020.  Donna courageously battled cancer for 18 months, rarely complaining throughout.  Her suffering ended peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family.

 

Donna’s childlike presence will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.  She had a kind and generous spirit, always searching for ways to show her love for family and friends.  Her greatest joy was in choosing just the right gift for friends and family at Christmas.

 

Donna was a follower of Jesus Christ, an avid collector, a creative artist and crafter, and photographer.  She had an amazing eye for beautiful photographs. She was a pet lover and a lover of all things related to baseball and football.

 

Donna lived through some harrowing situations and difficult medical issues in her life, and it was evident that her guardian angel was by her side through each and every experience.  Through it all, Donna retained a childlike trust and joy in the small things of life.

 

Donna was predeceased by her parents, Gene Brown and Jean Wilson Brown, and her husband John Tipton.  She leaves behind siblings Edward Altvater, John Brown (Jenny) , Deborah Diane Manelli, Taryn Brown Sills (Larry), Beverly Brown Jackson, and Robert Brown (Gayle), aunts and uncles Linda and George Wilson and Joyce Ann and Chuck Wilson, nieces and nephews Jennifer McCaslin, Kennah Manelli,  Andrea Sills, Tyler Anderson., McKenzie Brown, Cameron Brown, Chris Brown, John Brown Jr., Lucas Brown,  Alex Altvater, Edward Altvater Jr, Kodie Altvater, Kyle Dubois and 9 grandnieces and grandnephews.

 

We will all miss her terribly.

 

We will celebrate Donna’s life at a later date with a funeral Mass at Ascension Catholic Church, Melbourne, FL. 

 

In lieu of flowers donations in Donna’s memory may be made to a place that was very special to her, The Life Management Program at Circles of Care, Melbourne, FL.
