Obituary of Leonard I. Parent

Leonard “Lenny” I. Parent, 105, of West Melbourne, passed away on June 5, 2020. He was born on October 31, 1914 in Canton, MA to the late Leonard O. and Aurora F. Parent nee Letendre. Lenny served his country honorably in the USAF during WWII, flying countless hours in the B-24 aircraft. He continued his service with the USPS, where he later retired.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Eleanor in 2009, and son-in-law, Bud Tash in 2019.

Survivors include his children; Jeff Parent (Felice), and Jenifer Tash, niece; Gail Miller, grandchildren; Kathrine, Susan, and Beth, great-granddaughter; Molly, and a loving extended family and friends.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Melbourne, on Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at 1:00pm with military honors.

Burial will be at a later date in th Holy Name of Jesus Memorial Garden, Indialantic, FL with his beloved wife, Eleanor.
