Obituary of Harry Rallo

Harry Rallo, age 69, passed away on Sunday, October 11th, 2020 at Advent Health Hospital in New Smyrna Beach, FL.

 

Harry was born on September 28th, 1951 in the Bronx, NY to Angelo and Rose (Lacomare) Rallo. A 1968 graduate of DeWitt Clinton High School and a 1973 graduate of the City College of New York School of Architecture, he was a registered architect in NY and CT and a registered architect and building official in FL.

 

On May 5th, 1979, Harry married Bridgette Louise Bruno in New Rochelle, NY. He worked as a project manager with Turner Construction Company, a building official for the cities of Deerfield Beach, Dania Beach, Pembroke Pines and Golden Beach, FL and finally as a forensic architect with Travelers Insurance Company.

 

He also had a passion and another career in the art industry. A fine artist who trained with such art luminaries as Nelson Shanks and Stephen Scott Young, he painted portraits, landscapes and still lifes that were sold in galleries in Maine, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Florida and the Bahamas. Harry truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; he loved spending time with family and friends, sailing, painting and playing golf. Harry had an uncanny ability to reach people in a meaningful and positive way.

He is survived by his wife, Bridgette, his son Matthew, his brothers Matthew and Angelo and his nephews Matthew and Angelo. Family, friends and others whose lives Harry touched are invited to the funeral services which will be held on Saturday October 17th, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 3780 S. Hwy A1A, Melbourne Beach, FL with burial services to follow at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, 1422 Miller Street, Palm Bay, FL.
