Obituary of Edward A. Hizer

Edward Hizer, 80, passed away peacefully at home on December 6th, 2020 surrounded by his family. His passing comes after a brave battle with Parkinson's.  Most people referred to him as Ed. He was a great husband and father.  His is survived by his wife Wanda and three sons, Kevin, Jeff, and Steve as well as three grandchildren Jackie, Samantha and Kyle. 

Ed was born and raised in Ohio. After graduating from high school, he joined the Navy and served on a submarine stationed in Key West. During one of his leaves, he was introduced to Wanda who he would quickly fall for and marry.

After leaving the Navy, they settled in Melbourne.  He worked at Harris for over 30 years as a engineer. In his spare time he coached baseball, softball and Volunteered at the YMCA. He was always working on projects or helping anyone that needed a hand. 

He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Due to the current pandemic and the holidays, a memorial service will not be held until after early next year.
