Obituary of Maureen McNeil Langlois

Maureen Langlois passed away peacefully at home Thursday after a long illness, surrounded by family. She is predeceased by her parents, Dan and Dolly (née Wilson) McNeil. Survivors include her husband of 31 years Joseph Langlois, daughter Jenn Riley of Montreal, son Patrick Riley (Mary) of Los Altos, California, stepdaughters Kelly Bell (Kelly) of Titusville and Jennifer Beard (Russ) of Gainesville, Georgia, granddaughter Quinn, five grandsons, three great-grandchildren, brother Dan McNeil (Cheryl) and two nephews of Morgantown, West Virginia, and sister Kathleen Schafer (Earl) of Cocoa Beach. 

 

A long-time Satellite Beach resident, Maureen was adored by all who came in contact with her, and held many multi-decade friendships. After her family and friends, Maureen’s greatest loves were her alma mater the University of Alabama, Boston Terriers, and scrapbooking. 

 

Maureen’s family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to the staff of Health First Hospice for their compassionate and expert care.


Services will be held at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Indialantic. Visitation will be March 29th at 12:30pm, with a mass to follow at 1:00pm.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to mourners’ favorite animal, women’s, or religious charity,
