Mark Rosenbauer

Obituary of Mark A. Rosenbauer

Mark Rosenbauer, age 70, passed away suddenly on May 7, 2021. Mark was a proud Vietnam veteran, who carried the effects of his service throughout his life. He is survived by his soulmate and wife of 44 years, Mary Ann; his sons and their spouses Keith and Melissa; and Erik and Shannon. Mark loved being a grandfather of Kaitlyn, Kelsey, Sydney and Madilynn. Although he was gravely ill this past Christmas, he was thrilled to be able to attend Kaitlyn’s wedding to Michael in February.

Mark was a 1968 graduate of North Bergen High School, North Bergen, NJ, who also attended New Jersey City University. He had a varied career that included working for the NJ Railroad police, the State of Florida and the Osceola County Sheriff. He was passionate about improving the quality of life for senior citizens and previously was the Board Chair of the Osceola County Council on Aging. Mark also served his community as a St. Cloud City Councilman and Deputy Mayor. He absolutely enjoyed his role as a radio host of All Around Osceola in the 1990’s.

As his family grew to include 6 UCF grads, Mark became an avid UCF fan and never met a tailgate that he didn’t enjoy. Mark did not want a funeral service, his ashes will be spread at a later date. He will be deeply missed by his family and close friends as he Charges On in Heaven!
