Obituary of Annette Eveline Parker

Annette Parker, 78 of Satellite Beach, Florida passed away on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 after a brief illness surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy. She was the wife of the late John “Jack” Parker. Born in Fall River, MA she was the daughter of the late Conrad and Anna (Michaud) Durand who passed away when she was very young. She was raised by her oldest sister, Claire Lemelin and her husband Albert. She is the youngest and last surviving of 10 siblings Claire Lemelin, Raymond Durand, Cecile Loranger, Bernard Durand, Patricia Moulding, Richard Durand, Germaine Levesque, Jeannine Pasternak, Philias Durand.

Annette served in the U.S. Army from 1964 until her retirement as a Lieutenant Colonel in August of 1996. After her retirement, she continued to serve as a civilian public servant. Throughout her life, she humbly contributed to the good of others. Annette’s strong faith guided her life. Her volunteer activities included hospice support services, local pet and animal rescue and welfare activities support to retired veterans and veteran’s organizations, and multiple community service organizations. She was also deeply committed to groups providing assistance to victims of spousal abuse. These are but a small sample of her work to aid others.

Annette demonstrated an adoring and dedicated lifelong love for her pets, and there was plenty to go around.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews and so many special friends that she loved as her own family. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to your favorite charity in her memory.

A private service will be held at a later date in Melbourne, FL and Fall River, MA.
