Nina Albanese

Obituary of Nina Albanese

Nina Albanese, age 69, of Satellite Beach, passed peacefully at home, surrounded by the love of her family on Tuesday, August 10th at 05:00 a.m.

Nina was born February 3rd 1952 in New Brunswick, NJ to Emilia and Leonid Jefimowicz. She grew up with her three siblings Leon, Helena and Alice. As a young child she loved her mother’s garden and her father’s craftsmanship and loved to follow her father around as he worked. She would recall her fondest childhood memories of raking paths in the leaves among the tall trees surrounding her childhood home and enjoying the sunshine rain down on her during these adventures. As a young girl, she learned to speak conversational Russian from her mother and played the Balalaika in her father’s Gospel Balalaika Orchestra in which he composed original music. She loved music and art and was talented in drawing and painting.

After graduating high school she completed her degree in art at the Maryland Art Institute and went on to be a drafting artist for Bristol Myer Squibb in New Jersey. She later married Patrick (Pat) Albanese, her loving husband of 31 years who preceded her in passing in 2009.

Born to Nina and Pat were two sons, Max (42) and Leon (33) Albanese. Nina loved her family and is survived by her two sisters, two sons, and five grandchildren: Anthony, Andrew, Patrick, Mathew and Amelia. Nina was a devoted wife and mother who always put her love for her family at the forefront of her life every day. She truly loved whether you deserved it or not. Nina embodied and demonstrated the sacrificial nature of Jesus and showed her love and compassion to her family and close friends daily. Raising her children and keeping her home became the cornerstone of her life and she lovingly devoted herself to these endeavors.

Nina was a rock solid follower of Jesus Christ and would be proud to be described as such. As a member of Eau Gallie Baptist Church in Melbourne, Florida for many years; Nina was also a faithful member of The Seekers fellowship group and enjoyed her friendships immensely. Nina was often a very private person but appreciated her friendships with her church family and neighbors very much.

Visitation hours will be held at Beach Funeral Home, 1689 S. Patrick Drive, Indian Harbour Beach on Thursday, August 19th, 2021 at 10 a.m. Nina will be laid to rest with her Husband, Pat, at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. on Friday, August 20th 2021.

Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I will say, rejoice!
