Obituary of Grace C. Oliveira
Grace Oliveira, 90, died surrounded by family November 23, 2021. She was born in Bound Brook, NJ on August 25, 1931 and was preceded in death by her parents, John and Nan Chiniski, and her brother, John Chiniski. After college Grace started her career with the Federal Government in Washington DC, where she met her late husband, Sinval Jesse Oliveira. They had 45 wonderful years together, started their family in Bethesda, MD and retired in El Paso, TX. After Jesse's passing, Grace moved to Melbourne, FL to be with her children.
Grace was very active in her community serving the Montgomery County, El Paso, and Texas ARC, sang in the church choir, was a money counter, and active in St Vincent de Paul at Blessed Sacrament Church in El Paso and co-ran the El Paso Right to Life for many years.
She is survived by her children James Oliveira and Nan and Jeff Evans, grandchildren Chris and Lauren Evans, Robert and Katherine Evans, and Nicholas Evans, two great granddaughters and many nieces and nephews.
Service will be held on December 9, with a rosary starting at 10:30am and a funeral Mass at 11am at Holy Name of Jesus Church in Indialantic, FL. Grace will be laid to rest with her husband at Fort Bliss National Cemetery summer 2023.
