Obituary of Ann Ruth Huba

Ann Huba of Indian Harbour Beach passed away peacefully on December 15, 2021, at William Childs Hospice in Palm Bay, Florida

. Ann was born January 16th, 1932, in Brooklyn, New York, to Ida and Sydney Rattner. She graduated from Syracuse University, where she met and married James B. Huba.

Ann was an excellent and devoted career educator, and the Hubas enjoyed being a US Air Force family, travelling the country and the world. Ann was a voracious reader, appreciated local and national theatre and other performing arts, and loved traveling with family and friends.

She is survived by her daughters Deborah Huba (Larry Palmisano), Linda Lombardy (James), and grandson Jameson Lombardy, as well as by brother-in-law William Huba, nephews William Jr. and James Jr. Huba, and nieces Stephanie and Rose Huba. She will also be missed by extended family Linda Lombardy Piccolella (Jeffrey), their children Jeffrey Jr. and Lauren Piccolella Zurich, by dear friends Dr. Jane Chaney, Martha Kamm, and Donna James, and by Ellie Mae.
