“I have always loved being a nurse and I thank God for this. I pray I will be remembered with love and compassion. I have made many mistakes and I hope you will forgive me.
Don’t grieve for me, now I am free. I am following the path God laid for me. I took his hand when I heard his call. I turned my back and I left it all. I could not stay another day.
My life’s been full. I’ve savored much. Good friends, good times, and a loved one’s touch. Perhaps my time seemed all too brief, don’t lengthen it with undo grief. Lift up your heart and share with me. God wanted me now. He has set me free!!!!!”
When loved ones are taken, with grieving hears we must bid them farewell. But remember the saints in heaven rejoice as they arrive. Departure time is also arrival time. Oh, what comfort! Oh how blessed is the promise when our spirit is set free; to be absent from the body means to live, O Lord, with Thee! Separation is the law of earth: Reunion is the law of heaven.
