Obituary of Henry Almond Brace
Henry Brace, 81, of Satellite Beach, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on March 20, 2022. He was a Christian man of faith, a devoted husband and father, and an industrious entrepreneur.
Henry grew up in Detroit, Michigan, and married Margie, his high school sweetheart and loving wife of 61 years, in 1960. He started his career in the automotive industry in Detroit and, through hard work and determination, quickly worked his way up to leadership positions. He came to Florida in 1973 when he was offered a position as Vice President of Manufacturing for Documation in Palm Bay. From there, Henry founded his own sheet metal fabrication business, Hi-Tech Fabrications.
In 2001, he sold the business and retired, and Henry and Margie spent many adventurous years exploring the world with friends and family. He also spent time with family, never missing grandchildren’s performances, games, and graduations, and devoting his time to service by volunteering at the Holy Name of Jesus Church thrift shop.
He is survived by the love of his life, Margie Brace; children Ken Brace, Lorrie Green, and Jennifer Snider and their spouses; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a large extended family; and many dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Vincent De Paul Society at Holy Name of Jesus Church.
