Obituary of Claire G Haidet

Claire G. Haidet was born in Boston, MA on May 11, 1932 to Raymon and Dorothy Paltz. She entered eternal rest on June 20, 2022.

 She is predeceased by her son, John and her brother Raymon Paltz and is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Dale Haidet, her daughter in law, Nancy Haidet,  two grandchildren, Andrew(Whitney) and  Stephen Haidet, and  two great grandchildren, Hannah and Blake.

Claire grew up in Vineyard Haven, MA on  Martha’s Vineyard Island.  After receiving her high school diploma, she graduated from a two year secretarial school in Boston.  She met her husband, Sr Master Sargeant Dale Haidet, while being stationed with the US Air Force on Martha’s Vineyard.  They married in 1954.  As a military wife, Claire traveled and lived in many places including Germany and Taiwan.  In 1972, Dale retired from the Air Force and they moved to Florida, to live in Satellite Beach, FL.  

Claire was a kind and thoughtful person and always tried to find the positive in any situation.  She enjoyed spending time with friends and playing bunco at the Melbourne Senior Center.   Claire enjoyed every  minute she could spend with her grandchildren and especially cherished her great grandchildren, Hannah and Blake.
