Obituary of Jeanne Favreau

Jeanne Favreau, 76, of Indian Harbour Beach, FL, passed away peacefully Tuesday, December 6, 2022.

Jeanne was born in Woonsocket, RI, to the late Adrien Marcotte and Jeannine Longpre. She later met her loving husband Jean Paul Favreau with whom she would share 52 wonderful years of marriage. A marriage filled with traveling and happy times together in both Rhode Island and Florida.

Jeanne was a world class Licensed Practical Nurse, serving 25 years at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital in Rhode Island; 8 years at Melbourne Same Day Surgery Center; and finally retiring from the VA Clinic in Melbourne.

In addition to her husband, Jeanne is survived by her sister Jeannine Ball of Bristol, CT; sister-in-laws, Rose (Norris) Edmiston, Mary Ann (Peter) Hammar, and Pat Martin.

Jeanne was preceded in death by sister M. Suzanne Griffin in 2011 and her brother-in-law John “Jack” Griffin in 2022.
