Obituary of Antoinette Lepore

Antoinette Lena (Ferrara) Lepore died on January 18, 2023 peacefully in the comfort of her home in Satellite Beach surrounded and supported by loved ones.  Family and friends called her Toni, Nana Toni, Toyette, Tone, Aunt Toni, and Mom.  She was born in Corato, Italy on January 12, 1947 to the late Ralph and Rosa Ferrara.  The entire family, including her two older brothers Vincent and Louis, came to the United States in 1956 by ship arriving in Ellis Island, NY.  She graduated Suffern High School - Class of 1966 in Suffern, NY and later that year married her late husband Joseph Lepore of 41 years on July 10,1966.  Toni and Joe moved from New York to Florida with their two children Maria and Anthony in 1974 where they had a very successful hair salon for 35 years.  After 35 years Toni and Joe moved to Burnsville, NC where she was the happiest in nature with her chickens and gardening.  In 2006 Toni and Joe decided to move closer to family in New Bern, NC.  After the passing of Joe, Toni moved to Melbourne/Satellite Beach, FL in 2009 to be closer to her son and daughter. Toni was a School Crossing Guard for the City of Melbourne for 8 years and then the City of Satellite Beach for 4 years.  She was a very artistic woman with a talent to create beautiful art with watercolors.  Toni loved her family and was extremely devoted to her children and grandchildren.  She is survived by her daughter Maria Lalonde, son  Anthony Lepore, and her three grandchildren Joseph Lalonde, Alexandria Lalonde and Giovanna Lepore.
