Obituary of Francisco Jamie Ramos

FRANK J. RAMOS, a resident of Satellite Beach since 1974, died on April 15, 2023 at the age of 100.

 

A native of Puerto Rico, Frank served in the United States Army as an Infantry officer and retired as a Colonel in 1974, after serving 30 years of service. His military awards include, among others, five Legions of Merit, a Bronze Star medal and two air medals. He was also the recipient of military foreign awards from the governments of Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Peru, Spain, and the Republic of Viet Nam. Scholastically, Frank obtained a Master’s Degree in International Affairs from George Washington University.

After retirement, Frank pursued, successfully, a career as a Relator for 27 years.

Frank is predeceased by his wife of 60+ years, Elsa. Frank is survived by his children, Elsa Rebello, Frank Ramos, Jr. and daughter-in-law Mary; and son Michael Ramos; by his three grandchildren Frank III, Aimee and Amanda Ramos; and his two sisters Norma and Marina, who resides in Puerto Rico.

 

A memorial service will be held at Beach Funeral Home, Indian Harbour Beach at 1:00PM, Tuesday April 25, 2023. Entombment will take place at Florida Memorial Gardens.
