Obituary of Loyal Anthony Slechta

Tony Slechta, age 48, has gone peacefully to Heaven on Sunday morning, October 23, 2011 at home. A massive heart attack and unexpected. Tony was born in Seville, Spain, May 17, 1963. Moved to Orlando, FL 1968. 1986 Tony moved to Melbourne area with his sales job and stayed in the area. He sold roofing materials, later starting his own Company, Master Roofing & Construction. F.R.S.A. (Florida Roofing and Sheet Metal Assoc.), as well as he was former president of Space Coast Licensed Roofers Association. Recently took a Sales Job with ABC Roofing Supply to head-up their Metal Division and loved the challenge. He loved surfing, swimming, diving, snowboarding and most anything with danger involved. Mostly he enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed travel by boat anywhere. Tony was a member of Calvary Beachside Church and had a passion for doing anything to help there with the new Church. He is survived by his wife of over 13 years, Susan; four children, Samantha, Jake, Angela and Cody; two grandchildren, Lilly and Kayn; mother and father Loyal and Penny; brothers, Mike and Doug. Any donations would be appreciated to go to Habitat for Humanity or Nanna's House. Viewing will be held Thursday, 6 - 8 p.m. at Beach Funeral Homes, 1689 S. Patrick Dr., Indian Harbour Beach, FL 32937, 777-4640. Funeral service will be held Friday 10:30 a.m. at St. Mark's United Methodist Church, 2030 N. Hwy A1A, Indialantic.
