Obituary of Harold Moon

Harold M. Moon, 92 CMSGT U.S.A.F Ret., of Satellite Beach, passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2011. He was born in Holt, Alabama on May 19, 1919 to Henry and Eva Moon. He served his country honorably in the United States Air Force for 32 years, serving in Africa, China, Germany and Berlin Airlift during WWII. After his retirement he went on to work in the space program for 10 years where he received the Presidential Accommodation Award for Manned Flight Awareness. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Henry Hugh Moon. Survivors include: his beloved wife of 53 years, Anna; daughter, Sandra Wiley of Dallas, TX; son, John Moon of Satellite Beach; grandchildren, Jessica Wiley, Tracy Long, Amanda Morell, Dory Wiley and their spouses; and seven great grandchildren. In addition to flowers, donations may be made to Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, Florida.
