Obituary of Janet Quinones

Janet Quinones died on December 22, 2011 at Indian River Center in West Melbourne, FL. Janet was born on March 11, 1927 to the late Harold S. and Mary Scott Booth in Yonkers, NY. Janet was married to John P. Howard and had four daughters. She later married Joseph Quinones, who preceded her in death in 2002. Janet and Joseph retired from the New York State Dept. of Finance and Taxation and relocated to Melbourne, FL from White Plains, NY in 1988. Janet also volunteered at Holmes Regional Medical Center for five years. Janet is survived by her daughters and their respective spouses, Katherine and William O'Hara of Indian Harbour Beach, FL; Jo-Ann and Peter H. Franz of Wappingers Falls, NY; Teresa S. Hlywa of Poughkeepsie, NY; and Patricia and Stephen J. Chambers of Satellite Beach, FL. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first granddaughter, Theresa Franz Kelley. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation in Janet's name
