Obituary of Donald Lee Miles

Donald L. Miles, 80, died Feb. 6, 2012. He was born Feb. 22, 1931 in Warrick Co., Indiana to Arvel and Vivian Miles. Donald was a 35 year member of Sat. Bch. UMC. He was a Korean War Veteran in the USMC. He was a graduate of Indiana State Univ. with BS and MS degrees. He retired from Lockheed Corp in 1996. Donald is predeceased by his parents, his sisters Bettye Chilton and Lillian Carrier, brother Arvel Miles, Jr. and granddaughter Sabrina Lachle. He is sadly missed by his wife of 61 years, Ruth G. Miles, son James A. Miles, dtr. Anne M. Lachle, grandson Christopher Lachle, great-granddaughter Madison Downey and great-grandsons Cayden and Bronson Lachle. Visitation will be at Beach Funeral Home in IHB on Feb. 9 from 6:30-8 pm. Service will be on Feb. 10 at the Sat. Bch. UM Church at 2:30 pm.
