Obituary of Frankie Slater

Frankie Slater, Sr., 49, of Melbourne, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 25, 2012. He proudly served his country in the U.S.A.F as a Senior Airman. He then went to work for the Brevard County Sheriff's Department for over 16 years, where he was a Dual Sworn Sergeant Corrections Deputy. Frankie Sr. enjoyed both fresh and salt water fishing, playing golf and going to the shooting range. He was a true family man. He is survived by his wife; Heather, sister; Ameera, brother; Christopher, children; Frankie Jr., Deanna, Victoria, James and Michelle, grandchildren; Jaren and Joel. Viewing will be held on Thursday, March 1, 2012 from 5-9pm at Beach Funeral Homes-West, 4999 N. Wickham Rd. Melbourne/Suntree. A celebration on Frankie's life will be held at Calvary Chapel of Melbourne-Viera Campus, 2852 Fellowship Place, Viera on Friday, March 2, 2012 at 11:00am.
