Obituary of Richard Leon Davis

Richard Leon (Dick) Davis, 68, passed away April 1, 2012 in Melbourne. He was born on June 14, 1943 in Cortland, NY. Dick graduated from Cornell University with a BSEE, attended Washington University Graduate School in St. Louis and FIT Graduate School in Melbourne. He worked in electrical engineering for Harris Corporation from September 1969 until his retirement in July 2009. Dick's favorite past time was sitting on his front porch, beer in hand, watching the flag flying on the end of his dock on the Indian River surrounded by family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 44 years Martha Maxson Davis, daughter Nancy Elizabeth Davis and daughter Kathryn Davis Davidson (Johnathan). Dick is preceded in death by his father, Hollis R. Davis, mother Harriet S. Davis and brother Robert C. Davis. Services will be private.
