Obituary of Nancy I Roberts

Nancy Isobel Roberts (age 93), passed away Apr 20th in Melbourne, Fl at the home of her wonderful caregiver. Beloved wife of the late Edward V. (Ned) Roberts, she is survived by her daughter Nancy J. of San Francisco, CA and Douglas B. of Silver Spring, MD; and three grandchildren, Nancy Leila, Isobel Myriam and Nicholas Temoshok. Nancy was born in Manchester, England in 1918. She met Ned, a reporter, in London during the War; they married in 1946. The couple moved to the US in 1948. After her husband joined the foreign service, the family spent several years in Morocco and Japan. Upon retirement in 1971, they settled in Cocoa Beach. Nancy's lifelong love of music was fostered by her mother, Isobell Baillie, an internationally-known soprano.
