Obituary of Delbert Kay Santee

Del Santee, longtime resident and pioneer of Satellite Beach, passed away Sunday, July 8, 2012. Del was born in Bethlehem Pennsylvania on November 12, 1917. A WWII veteran, Del moved to Satellite Beach with his wife Joyce and their four children in 1956 to begin work as an aeronautical engineer at the then Cape Canaveral. His love of anything that flies guided his life's work. Del is predeceased by his wife of over 60 years. He is survived by his 4 children; Del Santee, Karen Graham, Holly Santee and Walter Santee; 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He will be missed and always remembered by all. Del and Joyce will be laid to rest together at Florida National Cemetery. Arrangements are by Beach Funeral Home in Indian Harbor Beach.
