We are sorry to hear of the passing of your beloved Jodi and words are most difficult to express to your family, however, only God can provide the greatest comfort of all. The Bible based resurrection hope that Jesus spoke of for Jodi is found at John 5:28,29 and Acts 24:15. These words of Jesus are comforting; moreover, the pain in your hearts for his passing at times will be overwhelming. Psalms 34:18 states, "God is near those broken at heart and crushed in spirit". So, rely on the God of all comfort Jehovah, because he will strengthen, sustain and comfort your family (Psalms 55:22). Therefore, “draw close to God and he will draw close to you"(James 4:8) during this time of sorrow and sadness.

My sympathies during this time of loss. “With my soul I have desired you in the night; yes, with my spirit within me I keep looking for you; because, when there are judgments from you for the earth, righteousness is what the inhabitants of the productive land will certainly learn.”-Isaiah 26:9
