Obituary of Rita Louise Smith

Rita Louise Smith, 49, of Melbourne, passed away on Thursday, August 9, 2012 after a courageous 1 ½ year battle with cancer. Through it all, Rita never let it reduce her quality of life. She was born on April 18, 1963 in Canton, OH to the late Charles and Beverly (McCaulley) Kerns. She is survived by her beloved husband; Joseph, daughter; Anna Louise, sisters; Charlann (David) Young, and Tenia (Garry) Sears, and a large loving extended family in north east, OH. Services will be held in OH at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rita's name to the American Cancer Society.
