Obituary of Suzanne Jane Geiger

Suzanne Jane Geiger, 62, of New Port Richey, passed away August 17, 2012. She was born on January 18, 1950 to the late Michael A. Geiger Jr. and Georgette Hauser in Brooklyn, NY. Suzanne received her Bachelors in Nursing from Rutgers University and worked in many fields of nursing. She also had a Bachelors in English. After living in New Jersey most of her life with her daughter, Suzanne moved to Florida in 2004 to help care for her father. For the last 12 years, she worked as a hospice nurse. She was an active Traditional Roman Catholic who attended Latin Masses several times per week. Suzanne even made several religious pilgrimages. She loved to care for her grand-daughter and taking walks with her daughter. Suzanne is survived by her daughter; Margo Anne Harris (Townsend Ladd); and grand-daughter Ella Rose Harris. Visitation will be held at Beach Funeral Homes - East, on Thurday, August 23, 2012 from 2-5pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrate on Friday, August 24th at 9am at the Chapel of the Holy Family, Melbourne. Burial will immediately follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Palm Bay.
