Obituary of Michael Dewaine Gainey

Michael Dewaine Gainey, 51, passed away December 26, 2012. In 1970 he resided with his family at PAFB. He was involved in cub scouts and boy scouts. He took an interest in surfing and won several trophies in the sport. He also liked little league baseball. He graduated in 1981 from Satellite High School. He worked on apartments and condos and was also involved in painting buildings. He later was in pool construction. He was really wild about Nascar. His favorite drivers were Dale Earnheardt, Sr. and Dale Jr. His favorite football team was the Miami Hurricanes. After his bike accident 6 1/2 years ago, which left him partially paralyzed on his left side, he was limited to riding his bike. His is survived by his mother, Sharon Gainey, older sister Debbie and younger brother Karl. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to your local heart association. A memorial service will be held Friday, December 28th at 2:00 p.m. at Beach Funeral Home, 1689 S Patrick Drive, Indian Harbour Beach, FL.
