Obituary of Richard F. Lockner

Richard "Dick" Lockner Indian Harbor Beach, Florida. Dick Lockner, 86 was called home to be with the Lord on December 24, 2012. Mr. Lockner was born in Jersey City, New Jersey on May 15, 1926. He came to Brevard County in 1983 after retiring and enjoying many years of wonderful cruising on his boat with his wife Mardi. He held degrees from Rutgers University and was a retired Licensed Professional Engineer, working for the E. R. Squibb & Sons, N.J., Foster Wheeler Corp., N.J., and as a consulting Electrical Engineer in the heavy industrial industry, both domestic and abroad. He was a parishioner at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Indialantic, Fl. Dick participated in Bible study, various programs and activities at the Church. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mardi, three brothers, Joseph, Thomas and Anthony (Tony) and two sons, Michael and David. He is survived by 1 nephew: Mark Lockner, New Jersey, 5 nieces: Jackie Wallace, Lorraine Reed, Chris Burroughs, of California, Janice Holmwood-Dant of Delaware, and Joanne Moore of Georgia. Dick will be remembered with a Mass at 8:30 am followed by the graveside interment service held at the Memorial Gardens, Holy Name of Jesus Church on February 2, 2013. In lieu of flowers, Dick asked that donations be made to the "Education Endowment Fund", Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 3050 N. Hwy A1A, Indialantic, Fl 32903.
