Obituary of Major Frank E Kane
Maj. Frank E. Kane, Jr., USAF retired, passed on to his maker and parents, Frank and Elmira, on Wednesday, January 9, 2013. Frank was born on April 17, 1932 in Los Angeles, California. He served his country honorably as a pilot assisting the Special Services in Vietnam, the Apollo program, Strategic Air Command in Africa, and Vietnam refugee relocation. Frank was a member of the Satellite Beach VFW, American Legion and Catholic Community at Patrick Air Force Base.
He is survived by his wife, Dolores, children; Tim, Kitt, Dave, Dan, Tom, Bob, and Pat, siblings; Myra, Carol, and Sue, grandchildren; Tiphany, Emily, Beth, John, Stephan, Jake, Miranda, Frank, Marvin, Amie, and Anna, and great-grandchildren; Evan, Max, Tanner, Kahley, Jack, Malakhi, and Zachary.
Attending from out-of-town are; Myra and Gene Kanatzar, Carol and John Simion, Sue and Allan Amos, Marianne Steinbacher, Mary Glasser, Maureen Mauer, Jean and Bill Niktakis, Ryan Amos, Jean Little, Don Smith, Karen and John Crowder, Jake and Rachel Kane, Tiphany Ruppert, Ron and Debra McGee and Sharon Bernal.
Rosary and visitation will be held on Friday, January 18, 2013 at Beach Funeral Home , Indian Harbour Beach, from 5-7pm. Memorial service will be held at Patrick Air Force Base - South Chapel, on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 10am. Burial will follow immediately at Florida Memorial Gardens, Rockledge, with military honors. There will be a Celebration of Life at the Satellite Beach VFW Post 4643 following the burial service.
