Obituary of Dennis Dale Robinson

Dennis Dale Robinson age 63 was called back home to the Lord on Jan 30th at 8:15 AM after a 4 month battle with cancer. A native of Cuyahoga Falls Ohio, Dennis was born in 1949 to Beatrice (Marie) and Dale Robinson. He graduated from Woodridge High School in 1967. He then attended Akron University and received a bachelors and masters degree in electrical engineering. He then served in the US Air Force for five years and was honorably discharged as a rank of Captain. A resident of Satellite Beach for 34 years, he worked the same civilian job for his entire career designing modems at Harris Government Systems Group; many times as the project leader. His hobbies included fishing in Canada, billiards, reading, skiing, and singing in barbershop quartets. As a strong Christian, he was an active member of the United Methodist Church of Satellite Beach, serving as the head of the new church steeple committee, and a bass in the church choir. A generous and loving husband and Father, he will be missed by his mother Beatrice; his wife of 37 years Rita; sister Janice King (Tom); brother Jim (Kathy); son Paul (Megan); Grandson Theodore, and many cousins, aunts, uncle, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his Father Dale and his infant sister Lavonne. A viewing will be held at Beach Funeral Home on 1689 South Patrick Drive, Indian Harbor Beach on Tuesday February 5th from 6-8 PM. The memorial service will be held at Satellite Beach United Methodist Church 450 Lee Ave. Satellite Beach on Wednesday, February 6th at 11AM. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Satellite Beach United Methodist Church in his name.
