Obituary of Jacqueline Bradford

Jacqueline (Jackie) Bradford, age 90, passed away peacefully February 13, at Ocean Breeze Gardens Assisted Living Facility in Satellite Beach, where she had battled with Alzheimer's for the past few years. Jackie was born in Les Ardennes (Reims), France and spent her youth there until she met and married Robert D. Bass (deceased) and only daughter, Helen (Cookie) was born. They moved to Florida in 1947. In 1967, she married Warren S. Bradford (deceased). During these years, Jackie and Cookie enjoyed an exceptionally close and loving mother-daughter relationship in all ways. Jackie is survived by her only daughter, Helen (Cookie) Keuning, granddaughter, Dana Keuning of Las Vegas, grandson Dr. Duane Keuning with his wife Keri of Jupiter,FL, and two great grandchildren, Lily and Cole. Jackie started work at Barnett Bank as a file clerk in Cocoa, in 1957, she worked her way up to Vice President of the Barnett Bank branch in Eau Gallie, then transferred to the branch at Patrick Air Force Base. She retired in 1990, after 34 years of service. She was beloved by many and returned their love in full measure as she loved all people, life and happy times. To this day the ladies that worked with and for her have an annual Barnett Bank Christmas party to celebrate their friendships, memories, and share their love for Jackie. Her hobbies included spending time with family (including her sister, Renee, in Paris, France) and enjoying many hours in her garden. She was a member of the Eau Gallie Yacht Club and a local French Club. The memorial service will be held Thursday, 21 February at 2 p.m., at Beach Funeral Home in Indian Harbour Beach. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Alzheimer's Association in honor of Jackie is suggested.
