Obituary of Margaret G Tuzzeo

Margaret "Marge" Tuzzeo was born in Bronx, NY to Vincent and Mary Di Rocco on May 1, 1921. She was born to eternal life on February 19, 2013. Marge was united in marriage to Paul on October 4, 1943. He preceded her in death on April 4, 2009. They were married for 65 years. Before moving to Florida in 1972, they resided in Northport, N.Y. Marge worked in various sales positions, but her passion was being a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a women of faith and devotion and served in many ministries at St. Teresa's Catholic church and after moving to Melbourne in 1996, at Ascension Catholic Church. Over the years her hobbies were baking, cooking, crocheting, ceramics, swimming, reading and walking. She created many memorable items for her family and leaves behind many treasured recipes. Her sense of humor made her the life of the party. Her warmth, friendliness and kindness will be dearly missed. For the past three years, Marge enjoyed life, meeting wonderful friends and experienced many new adventures while residing at Watersong, a retirement community in Melbourne. Marge is survived by her loving family, her children, Ray (Suzanne), Midge (Vince) Rondello; grandsons, TJ and Danny (Mercedes) Tuzzeo; granddaughters, Michelle (Rich) Schmidt, Melissa (Mike) Beams, Jenifer Rondello, Jamie (Chris) Shee; and eight great-grandchildren, Connor and Callie Schmidt, Cameron, Cayden and Colton Beams, Brandon and Tyler Shee, Rylee Tuzzeo, her sister, Ann (Alan) Perry, brother Richard (Elaine) DiRocco; and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held at 10:00 at Ascension Catholic Church in Melbourne on Saturday, March 2, 2013 followed by a funeral mass at 11:00. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to Ascension Catholic Church, 2950 N. Harbor City Blvd. Melbourne, 32935.
