Obituary of Mary Anita Griffiths

Anita Griffiths, 94, of Satellite Beach, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, August 11, 2009 with her family beside her. She was born in Mt. Vernon, NY to William and Monica Archer on January 7, 1915. Anita came to Brevard County in 1996 from Scarsdale, NY. She was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Indialantic. Anita is survived by her four sons, George (Lorraine), William (Norma), Michael and Donald (Suzanne); thirteen grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held at Beach Funeral Home, Indian Harbour Beach, Friday, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. August 14, 2009. Mrs. Griffiths will be transferred to McHouls Funeral Home in Hopewell Junction, NY for a Mass at St. Columba Catholic Church and interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, NY.
