Obituary of Claude J. Bergeron

Claude J. Bergeron, 90, of Indian Harbour Beach, passed away Thursday, November 19, 2009. He was born in Chippewa Falls, WI. Claude moved from El Paso, TX to Brevard County 51 years ago. Prior to retirement her served with the U.S. Navy for 20 years, retiring as a Chief Petty Officer. He then worked as an Electronics Technician for 28 years for R.C.A and retired from there. He was a member of NCO club at P.A.F.B., Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, he volunteered at St. Vincent de Paul Society and Brevard Alzheimers Foundation. He is survived by his wife of 11 years, Teresa; son, Joesph (Wanda) Bergeron; two step-sons, Joseph (Mary) Petzar, and Stephen (Lisa) Petzar; two step-daughters, Mary Ann (Kevin) Gay, and Teresa Petzar; brother, Noel Bergeron; sister, Catherine M. Conroy; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Edna who died in 1991. For his last two years he was in the care of Florida Shores ALF. Visitation will be held Monday, November 23, 2009 from 12 to 2:00 p.m. at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Indialantic. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated following the visitation at 2:00 p.m., with full Military Honors.
